We depart from CDMX to visit the magical town of Huamantla, Tlaxcala, where we'll embark on an exclusive city tour. You'll have the chance to try natural pulque and flavored varieties. The tour concludes with the mesmerizing experience of witnessing thousands of lights at the Firefly Sanctuary.

  • You cannot enter the Firefly Sanctuary with food or drinks.

  • Tips

¿Qué llevar?

  • Wear dark clothing, without reflective or fluorescent colors.
  • Bring an extra pair of shoes to use exclusively at the Firefly Sanctuary MX.
  • We recommend bringing an extra change of clothes in case of rain.
  • The use of flashlights, cell phones, cameras with flash, or any other device that emits light, music, or noise, as well as fluorescent clothing or LED shoes, is not allowed during the sighting.
  • Bring a plastic raincoat as umbrellas or parasols are not allowed.
  • The use of mosquito repellents is not allowed in order to preserve the fireflies.

Política de cancelación

Access will not be granted to individuals suspected of being infected with COVID-19. In case of presenting symptoms or a temperature higher than 37.7 degrees Celsius. Access is not permitted to individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If any additional services are acquired during the tour, there are no changes or refunds. Due to the pandemic and limited capacity, cancellations will not be accepted, and rescheduling will only be possible for a future date. If rescheduling is necessary, availability must be verified, and the request made at least 5 days in advance of your check-in date.

No show

It will be considered a no-show if the visitor does not arrive before the scheduled time according to the itinerary. If they arrive after this time, the amount paid up to that point will not be refunded. In the event of a no-show, the reservation cannot be valid for a later date, and there will be no refund of the total amount paid up to that moment.

Aspectos importantes

On the day of your visit, you must settle any outstanding amount to gain access to the unit. As it is a protected area, pets are not allowed under any circumstances. The company reserves the right to allocate and modify the type of transportation assigned to your group. The reservation will only be valid for the previously agreed-upon day and date. Access to the Firefly Sanctuary MX will not be allowed without an entry bracelet. Changes in timing and activities may occur without prior notice.

9:00 am: Breakfast in Huamantla (extra cost)
10:30 am: City tour in the magical town of Huamantla, Tlaxcala
1:00 pm: Free time for lunch in the magical town of Huamantla, Tlaxcala
2:30 pm: Departure towards Nanacamilpa, the home of the Firefly Sanctuary
4:00 pm: Pulque tour (optional with extra cost)
6:00 pm: Arrival at the Firefly Sanctuary, group assignment, and guides
7:00 pm: Trail description and familiarization with the ecosystem
8:00 pm: Firefly sighting in forested trail
11:00 pm: Departure towards CDMX
1:00 am: Arrival in CDMX
